Description:
Steamed up and ready to roll, this Alco 0-6-0 yard switcher built around 1912 for the New York Central was caught in the Albany, New York, yard with the fireman resting at his window. According to the August, 1940 issue of "Railro~d Magazine", the srecs on this loco are - class B-10, 58" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 21x28" cylinders, engine weight of 163,000 lb, tractive effort of 32,570 lb. Renumbered later in the 66-6700 series. Unknown photographer.
