United States Navy VO-1000 65-00531, which has been rebuilt with EMD components, was found on December 21st, 1980, at Anaheim Junction (Anaheim, California) on the Southern Pacific. This engine was one of several used at the nearby Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station.
