L&N 1330
L&N 1330 kicks a loaded hopper down the ladder at the north end of the yard at Hazard. This engine was formerly Monon 513, and lost its characteristic Monon nose-top bell mounting in a Monon-era accident. It ran with a C&NW-like nose "gong" for awhile on the Monon, but apparently L&N later fitted it with a more "normal" bell, probably under the frame on the engineer's side. Date approximate.
