BO 2-6-6-2 #7529 - Baltimore & Ohio         
This good looking 2-6-6-2 Mogul Mallet steam locomotive was built by Alco-Brooks in May of 1918 originally as Buffalo, Rochester & Pittsburgh #729. The loco was officially absorbed onto the B&O roster in 1932 as BO #7529. It served for nearly 33 total years before being sold for scrap in May of 1951. . Original specs - 57" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 23.5x37" high pressure cylinders, 37x32" low pressure cylinders, engine wt of 437,000 lb, impressive tractive effort of 80,000 lb. No date, location or photographer was listed for this photo so approximates were used.
