| This is a fairly poor quality photo of Western Pacific 2-8-0 Consolidation #53 built by Alco-Schenectady in September of 1909. The loco served the WP until retirement in December of 1949 and scrapped in March of 1950. Specs - 57" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 22x30" cylinders, engine wt of 203,000 lb, tractive effort of 43,305 lb. . The photo was taken by Anderson. |
