PRR 4935, GG-1, 1956         
Here is a post card photo by Homer R. Hill of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4935. Caption On Reverse: "GG1 No. 4935 on southbound local at South Amboy, N.J., in 1956. This locomotive was restored to its original livery of green with gold pinstripes in 1977 by a group of fans through the cooperation of NRHS and Amtrak." Shown here is PRR engine #4935, a GG-1 (2-C-C-2) built in Juniata in March of 1943, rated at 4,620 horsepower, and now on display at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania.
