Mann. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Jeffersonville, Indiana, on 24 March 1962. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9858 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9858 is an EFP-15 constructed in July of 1952. ("PrrFan18n") |
