Duplexes. Here is a photo via Bob Lorenz that was taken near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, in 1948. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5530, a T-1 (4-4-4-4) "Duplex" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during January of 1946 and retired in December of 1953 after just seven years of service.
