Its 1946, and 4019 wears its one-of-a-kind smoke deflectors as it leads a Pacific Fruit Express train through Echo Canyon. 4019 only wore smoke deflectors for a short period of time in 1946, and Gilbert Bennet used that as inspiration for this painting.
