Wallin. Here is the first of two duplicate 35mm color slides of photos by Richard R. Wallin that were taken in Gallitzin, Pennsylvania, in January of 1961. Shown here (R to L) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9808, two more "EF" Class units, as well as three "AF" Class units. #9808 is an EF-15A built by GM-EMD in April of 1951 and rated at 1,500 HP. They've just passed "AR" Tower, and are about to enter the New Portage Tunnel on their journey from Conway to Enola. ("PrrFan18n"; #1 of 2) (#6,900) |
