Elmira. Here is the fourth of four successive duplicate 35mm color slides by John Dziobko, Jr., that were taken in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, on 19 August 1956. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6797, an M-1B (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Lima Locomotive Works as an M-1A during April of 1930, rebuilt in Juniata as an M-1B in December of 1947, and retired in September of 1959 after 29 years of faithful service. It's passing NEWBERRY Tower. ("Stoneborobranch"; #30 of 34)
