PC FP7A #4340 - Penn Central         
Caught by Michael A Tedesco as it sat in the former NYC yard at Collingwood, OH, is this grimy EMD FP7A unit #4340. Built by EMD in May of 1952 as PRR 9840, it stands as a sad symbol of the poor PC maintenance record.

Tom Beckett General PC's power always looked so battered!! FYI the yard is Collinwood. It's east of Cleveland on the ex NYC main line to Buffalo. It was a bastion of F units right up into the Conrail years. 11/8/2019 3:58:18 AM
