Here is page four of a five-page article by C.E. Starr entitled "Conemaugh Crossroads." It was published originally in the May 1947 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 30. Top Photo Caption: "Bound for Altoona with an extra freight, engine 6777 crosses the Allegheny River Bridge which links Freeport with Kiskiminetas Junction." Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6777 is an M-1A (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Lima Locomotive Works during March of 1930 and retired in January of 1957 after 27 years of faithful service.
