| I had gone up to dump recycling-the dumpsters are outside the gates of the transfer station, which is near the Lincoln Av crossing. As I was leaving, I crossed the tracks to see the familiar triple headlights to the north. I beat it to the Main St crossing, hoping the open area would have a little more light, maybe enough to get a decent shot. Even on sports mode, which gave me 1/30 second at F4, but a "film speed" of 1600, the light was too far gone. So it goes. Two up front, two pushing, 80 cars of southbound grain. |
