| When we got back to Gentry, we figured this train was waiting on a meet, which appeared to be imminent when we heard a horn off to the north. Not quite. This pair of units came down and coupled to the head end. I wasnt there to see what had gone on before we got there, but if I had to guess, they had a problem with the lead unit, and took the DPU and moved it to the head end. The plan was to chase this guy north, but KCS had other plans. Things don't often work out as you thought. |
