| Date approximate. This is the Scottsville Rd. crossing next to the Genesee River. East River Road is on the other side of the bridge. Anyone who went to RIT (or goes there now) is familiar with this location. A single PC west shore local (probably daily at this point) handled everything on line while skirting various thru freights. This is well before the Conrail upgrade, so there aren't that many of them. Today's WS is essentially a third main through the Rochester area and local WS traffic has diminished substantially. |
