| CN local bisects the intersection of Desnoyer St. and Seymour St. as it heads southeast via former C&NW rails at Kaukauna, WI on 8 Jul. '17. They are descending the grade from the main line down to the banks of the Fox River in order to service the large Expera Specialty Solutions paper mill. From its founding in 1883 until 26 Jun. '13, the Kaukauna paper mill was Thilmany Pulp and Paper Co. (a.k.a. Thilmany, LLC or Thilmany Papers). Looking northwest from the intersection of Oviatt St. and Seymour St. By simply rotating about 75 degrees to the right while standing at this intersection, I was able to capture the next photograph of this local crossing the Oviatt St. grade crossing. |
