GE 44ton switcher built for the Pennsylvania RR in 1949 was captured in what appears to be a storage or scrap line. Since it has lost the "Pennsylvania" label, this might be after PennCentral took over. Forrest Trittenbach, the photographer, took quite a few photos of the Pennsy in transition - PennCentral & then Conrail. No date or location was provided for this photo unfortunately. |
