Union Hall St  Contributor's Pick!
LIRR freights used a couple of tracks to the south of Jamaica station to pass the platforms. These tracks continued east to Holban Yard as running tracks. Here we see maid of all work on the west end of the railroad, RF 7, rolling back toward Fresh Pond on the running tracks as it approaches Hall tower in Jamaica. Union Hall St station, closed in the late 70s, once stood near this location.
