This photograph is largely unremarkable – two PC freights on the mains, one powered with a GP40/GP30 combo. The track on the right is a leftover from the old four track main, now downgraded for mostly local use. The spur at the extreme bottom right is the lead to Robinson Clay Products. Of more interest is the group of four tracks curving away at the upper left – that’s the interchange with the PRR. It is difficult to make out, but the Pfaudler K-52-1 track is to the right of the Pennsy interchange along the pavement at the left of the small building. This photo is from 1974 or so. |
