Switching power  Contributor's Pick!
By the 1980s, end cab switchers were getting rare. To fill the low horsepower gap, EMD developed the GP15-1, which was kind of reinventing the RS 1 with a bit more horsepower. They were well suited for their intended purpose, and EMD sold them, to among others, CNW, CR, MP, Chessie. Heres one of CNWs at Clinton.
