NH 2-6-0 #294 - New York, New Haven & Hartford  Contributor's Pick!       
This 1900 Baldwin built Mogul-type locomotive looks like its working the yard today. It had 63" drivers and could generate a respectable boiler pressure of 200 psi for its 20"x28" cylinders. Engine weight was 153,000 lb and it produced a tractive effort of 30,222 lb. The class was superheated in 1913.
