Louis Brzuchalski General It is the remains of a Interurban line. The Toledo & Eastern Ry remains is in the weedson the same side as the abutment, down the road, across the NYC tracks, that is if the Quarry has not filled it in. It consisted of the foundation of a shop building, with acess to inspecting under locomotives. Previously, it was the Ohio Public Service, O. P. S., but I can't remember who it was before that. The line ended at "RYAN" with a connection with the former TT RR on Starr Ave., at the Toledo-Oregon, Ohio city line. T&E received coal from the W&LE Ry., at Curtice Ohio, and delivered it to the Toledo Terminal rr, who gave it to the PRR for delivery to the Toledo Edison generating ACME plant, on Front St., in East Toledo. Plant now closed and will be demolished for the "Marina District" project, which is still to be started. If I can fide out the original line name, I will let you know. 2/12/2006 4:48:15 PM
