Meadows. Here is the second of four successive duplicate 35mm color slides of photos by John Dziobko, Jr., that were taken at the Pennsylvania Railroad's Engine Service Tracks at Meadows Yard near Kearny, New Jersey, on 2 May 1953. Prominent here is PRR engine #4995, an E-3B (B-B-B) electric built by Baldwin-Westinghouse in June of 1951, rated at 3,000 horsepower, and retired in June of 1965 after 14 years of experimental service.
