Behold the MVT empire
Mt Vernon Terminal RR operates a very small section of track left from an Interurban operation that used to run north to Bellingham. This is its self-described 'roundhouse' located under Interstate 5 in its namesake town. Ex-Navy Baldwin V01000 505 was the normal power at this time and the Plymouth was a backup. The engine shed has since been replaced with another structure at the same location that holds the road's current power, an EMD SW9.
