Seaboard Air Line Railroad GP-9 1923 Hurtsboro, Alabama, 1960 -- Scanned from postcard -- It was taken by a member of the Atlanta Chapter of the NRHS, for Mary Jane Railroad Specialties. The train is pictured heading eastbound through a right hand curve NW of town. The camera is looking NW from the corner of Owens and Daniel streets. the train is coming by the Oak Flooring mill. The remains of the factory were destroyed by a tornado in 1981, and the remains cleared away --- Special Thanks to Darrell Krueger for finding this info for me!
