Oil Power. Here is an original 35mm color slide by Norton D. Clark that was taken in Curtis Bay, Maryland, on 13 March 1965. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9349, #9325, #9323, and four more units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by General Electric and rated at 300 horsepower each. #9349 is a GS-4 constructed in December of 1948 and retired in June of 1964. #9325 is a GS-4 built in November of 1947 and retired in June of 1964. And #9323 was constructed in April of 1949 and retired in June of 1964. (Actual Annotation: "MAR 13 1968") |
