Rail Burn |
Description: |
The old Rock Island route that is now owned by Metra from Joliet to Chicago sees over twenty commuter trains a day (Plus several manifest and ethanol trains from the IAIS On the run through from Iowa to Blue Island, IL). This is the main track (and only east west track) in front of Union Station at Joliet where those trains stop, load and unload passengers then head back to Chicago everyday. So I guess a little rail burn would be expected. |
