Album Info:Today I went up to Warsaw in hopes to shoot the CFE Local Job west to Valparaiso today. Little did I know when I went up they would not be running west, rather east to work the industries on the other side of town. With that plan foiled I was told that CKIN would be running with a pair of the endangered SD-M DMIR painted units so I raced to Wellsboro and chased them south. I closed the day at Wellsboro along the CSX and CN grabbing some mainline action. Enjoy!

Description:  Today I went north to Warsaw to chase the westbound CFE Local out of Warsaw in hopes of shooting it by the Pennsy PLs which are supposedly in danger now. Unfortunately I didnt get my way and I soon figured out they wouldnt be running west, rather east to work the industries on the other side of town. I was pooped out on that, so I decided I would spend the day chasing the CKIN. Todays train would sport 2 DMIR painted SD-Ms so that would be a great way to rebound from a disappointing day. I ended up sitting in Warsaw for a good hour before I figured out what the CFE was going to do. During that time, a short lived shower went through, but it created this beautiful rainbow after it cleared, so I got some great rainbow shots with the local power!

Description:  When I figured out that all hope was lost on the CFE, I got a text from a friend saying the CKIN would be running with a pair of DMIR painted SD-Ms. With these being in danger of retirement, I made the drive to Union Mills to begin a chase south to La Crosse. When I arrived they were still doing some switching so I was able to catch this westbound CN intermodal with a pair of SD70M-2s to start my day in "The Region".

Description:  The day is just beginning on the CKIN! Todays trains power has been taken off the siding south of town and is now heading north to the grain elevator. The only object to frame the train by in this spot is this port-a-pot, so I decided why not frame the engines with the place theyll be going to in the near future.

Description:  IBCX 5152 was sitting on the mainline while IBCX 6321 and IBCX 5115 were sitting on the far track when both SD-Ms got to the elevator. Austin Sasse, the engineer, would have his conductor hook both units up to IBCX 5152 and have it come along for the switching for the day.
