Album Info:Got on SEPTA #205 at Norristown at 7:45AM...off to 30th St. station. Amtrak #660 left at 9:36AM for New York, then MTA 1 & Grand Central shuttle subway to GCT, 12:02 New Haven Line train to Stamford CT with an immediate transfer to the New Canaan train. Eight minute layover in N-C before returning to Stamford. Shoot 8 trains in about a half hour before boarding the Grand Central Express. Arrival at GCT 3:15. Dinner at the Oyster Bar, a few photos before the subway deal to NYP, board Keystone #669 around 5:15 for the return. A few more photos at 30th. St. before our 7:23PM SEPTA ride on #206 back to Norristown. One way milage: SEPTA 19.5, Amtrak 90.5, Metro North 37. Sun was out, timekeeping was good & I now have ridden all of Metro-North. Bob, Kevin, Paula, John & myselhf had a good day!

Description:  Boston and Maine stainless steel sleeper Salisbury Beach has a rare 6 roomette, 4 bedroom, 6 section layout. The car is the only survivor of the 4 Beach series cars built by Pullman in 1954. Pennsylvania Colonial Crafts (Pullman 1949) was built as a 3 bedroom, 1 drawing room buffet lounge car. It is one of the 95 cars of various configurations built to re-equip the Broadway Limited.
