According to SteamLocomotive.com website, this locomotive was built by Alco-Schenectady in 1910 and was a member of the E-1 class. It had 69" drivers, developed 185 psi, for its 22"x28" cylinders, had an engine weight of 220,500 lb, and could produce a tractive effort of 30,823 lb. No photographer listed and the day in March, 1940, is approximate.
