Description:  This locomotive was delivered to Southern Pacific in March 1980 as GP40-2 7673. Upon the UP-SP merger, this diesel was repainted in full UP press and renumbered 5324. During UP's motive power renumbering this EMD got a new number and a second coat of paint with the newer zig-zag scheme. No amount of Armor Yellow can hide the Espee light scar on the nose and rear hood.

Description:  Looking like just another switcher is this SW1504, a cross between an SW1500 and MP15DC. Sixty of these switchers were produced by EMD in 1973 and all for NdeM. After the breakup of Ferrocarriles Nacionales de México, these unusual diesels came to the US and a few ended up on the Helm roster in lease service.

Title:  GTW 5936
Description:  Waiting on a green signal before moving south on a BNSF freight, this SD40-2 is no stranger to Texas. Delivered to Missouri Pacific as SD40-2 3192 in March 1975, this EMD entered the UP era wearing the same number but was retired wearing full UP yellow dress. In 1990 Grand Trunk Western picked up this diesel and after a period wearing yellow with the GT logo on the hood was renumbered 5936 and eventually given full GTW blue and orange. Although this unit has worked for different roads, the Mopac ordered hood mounted bell remained.
